Wheels 4 Wheels Campaign

This campaign is now in it’s 6th year and is the brainchild and CSI project of Chrysler Jeep Dodge Century City (CJD), proving to be a flagship project for CSI. The Campaign sponsors one wheelchair for every Jeep sold during September, and clients of CJD and members of the Jeep Club arrange a delivery rally to personally deliver the wheelchairs to the beneficiaries in identified areas. This year we will be supporting Lonwabo Centre in Mfuleni. The Campaign was launched with a Women’s Breakfast, where CJD staff brought a toy to be added to the toy library at Lonwabo Centre. Click here to volunteer for this wonderful project!

Wheelchair Donation

A big thank you to Game and Vodacom for again providing wheelchairs to school-going children, in order to allow them to continue attending school. A total of 66 wheelchairs were given to 8 ELSEN schools and 4 Western Cape APD Branches.

Each child had been individually assessed and measured, which meant that each wheelchair provided was custom made for that specific child. In this way, secondary health complications like pressure sores and respiratory problems were eliminated.

As an association which promotes independence of persons with disabilities, we congratulate Game Stores and Vodacom for their commitment to the provision of correct seating for children with disabilities.
